Web developer & designer

Job Description:

The Wiremedia team is expanding! We are looking for a Web Developer & Designer who will be responsible for creating great websites for our clients. Primary duties include implementing creative ideas for websites, while ensuring a responsive layout and high-quality, based on the client’s needs and specifications, while collaborating with the Graphic Design team.

Responsibilities:

Working with different content management systems (WordPress, Prestashop, etc.)
Knowledge of WordPress standards and functionality
Experience with Elementor Pro
Incorporating functionalities and features into websites
Testing and improving the design of the website
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards
Constant communication with the other teams (Graphic Design, Content) in the business to develop and deploy their content
Minimal web hosting knowledge: cPanel, DNS / NS, email config
Management of website maintenance and upkeep of websites
Proficiency in front-end development languages such as HTML/CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript
Good understanding of content management systems
Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Creative and open to new ideas
Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task with deadlines and time constraints
Great team work skills
2+ years' professional (paid) web design experience
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
Good to know: Google & Facebook Ads
Knowledge of content marketing a plus
