Senior HR Manager – Nusfalau, Salaj

Hanna Instruments, an industry leader in laboratory instrumentation for analytical testing, is looking for a full-time Senior HR Manager to join our team in Nusfalau, Salaj, Romania. You will be responsible to provide support in all areas of Human Resources, for around 700 employees. You will be well versed in legal HR aspects, with experience in Employee Relations, Performance Management and Recruitment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Designs and implements a Performance Management system, following the company’s business objec-tives and Management direction
• Manages the work responsibilities and results of two other HR specialists
• Manages the recruitment and employment cycle end to end
• Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of human capital
• Develops and monitors overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization
• Collaborates with the Managers on salary and benefits policies
• Ensures the update of the organizational chart, job descriptions and all necessary documents/reports
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to resolve situations
• Collaborates to agree on disciplinary actions for policy violations with Managers
• Assesses and investigates Employee grievances or complaints and provides support for managers on employees’ sensitive situations
• Coordinates Involuntary/Mutual Separation Agreements
• Provides mediation or conflict resolution with Managers and/or employees
• Provides general consultation on employment law topics
• Works with Managers on issues that impact the workforce and provides a customer centric approach to Management and employees
• Builds strong, professional business working relationships and external networks, based on credibility and trust

Requirements:
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role for organizations with over 500 employees
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and best HR practices
• Experience in tackling all aspects HR related, being an excellent communicator at all levels, from blue col-lar workers to top management
• Experience in attracting good candidates and increase retention
• Ability to provide strategic insight, analysis and solutions to organizational issues
• People oriented, results driven and time management skills
• Experience in all areas of Employee Relations in a fast paced and challenging environment
• Ability to deal with conflict situations as well as initiating solutions
• Consistent track record of working with managers to provide solutions to improve individual effective-ness
• Able to anticipate the needs of the business when new events and programs roll-out and able to coor-dinate across projects & initiatives
• Comfortable operating under confidential circumstances while maintaining impartiality & neutrality
• Strong written, oral, & presentation skills in English and Romanian, Hungarian can be an asset
• Bachelor/Master degree in Psychology/HR/Management
